Your Trusted House Cleaning in Vancouver Downtown
Downtown Vancouver’s Yaletown and Coal Harbour towers are some of the newest housing stock we service, and that changes the cleaning priorities completely compared to an older neighbourhood.
Yaletown was built out through the 1990s and 2000s on the site of the old rail yards from Expo 86, and most Coal Harbour towers went up around the same period or later, which means floor-to-ceiling glass, engineered hardwood or polished concrete, and open-concept kitchens rather than the separate rooms and older fixtures we deal with elsewhere. Streak-free glass matters a lot here given how much of a downtown condo’s value is the view, and we treat window and glass-door cleaning as a bigger part of the job than we would in a character home.
Building access is also different downtown. Most towers run through a concierge or a strata-managed fob system, so we coordinate elevator bookings and building sign-in ahead of a visit rather than just showing up, which matters more here than in a standalone house.
Turnover is high in this part of the city too, driven by short-term rentals, corporate leases, and a steady flow of renters moving in and out of Yaletown and Coal Harbour buildings, so move-in and move-out cleaning and Airbnb turnaround make up a large share of what we book downtown, often on tighter timelines than a residential neighbourhood would need.
Whether you're in a high-rise off Yaletown's Mainland Street, a Coal Harbour waterfront tower, or an office or retail unit near the West Georgia corridor, we bring the same flat-rate pricing and reliable scheduling, adjusted for building access and the compact, glass-heavy layouts that define this part of downtown.

Frequently Asked Questions - Downtown Vancouver
Can your team handle building fobs and elevator bookings?▾
Yes. Most Downtown Vancouver towers require fob access and, for larger jobs, an elevator booking through building management. Let us know your building's specific requirements when booking and we'll plan around them.
Do you clean smaller condos and studios?▾
Yes. A large share of our Downtown bookings are studios and one-bedroom condos. Pricing is based on square footage, so a smaller unit costs less than a larger home on the same flat-rate scale.
How much does condo cleaning cost Downtown?▾
Flat-rate pricing starts at $249 for units up to 600 sq ft, with most Downtown studios and one-beds landing between $249 and $349.
Can you clean an Airbnb between guest checkout and check-in?▾
Same-day turnovers are common for our Downtown Airbnb clients in Yaletown and Coal Harbour. Syncing cleaning to your booking calendar rather than scheduling manually is the most reliable way to avoid a missed turnover.
Is parking available for your team near Downtown buildings?▾
Parking varies a lot by building Downtown. Let us know if visitor parking, a loading zone, or paid parking applies to your address so we can plan the visit accordingly.
What Our Customers Say
Cleaning in Yaletown and Coal Harbour: What's Actually Different
Downtown Vancouver's Yaletown and Coal Harbour towers are some of the newest housing stock in the entire city, and that newness is exactly what makes cleaning here different from almost anywhere else we service.
Built on a different timeline
Yaletown sits on what used to be Canadian Pacific Railway yards and warehouses, redeveloped starting in the early 1990s after Expo 86 freed up the land along False Creek. Coal Harbour's towers mostly went up from the late 1990s through the 2000s and 2010s, replacing what had been industrial waterfront. That means almost none of the housing stock downtown predates the 1990s, the opposite of what we deal with in Kitsilano or Shaughnessy. Floor-to-ceiling windows, engineered hardwood or polished concrete floors, and open-concept kitchen and living spaces are the default here, not original hardwood, clawfoot tubs, or plaster walls.
Glass is the priority, not floors
Because so much of a downtown condo's value and daily experience comes from the view, floor-to-ceiling windows and glass balcony doors get more attention on a Yaletown or Coal Harbour visit than they would in an older neighbourhood. Streaks and smudges are far more visible against a harbour or city view than in a house with smaller, curtained windows, so we treat glass cleaning as a bigger, more time-consuming part of the job downtown than the floor and surface work that dominates an older character home.
Getting into the building is its own step
Almost every downtown tower runs through some combination of a concierge desk, a fob or key card system, and a strata council with its own visitor policies. Before a downtown visit, we typically coordinate an elevator booking, confirm any move-in or move-out elevator padding requirements for bigger jobs, and sign in with a concierge, none of which applies to a standalone house or a walk-up building. This adds a coordination step to Yaletown and Coal Harbour bookings that we plan for ahead of time rather than treating building access as an afterthought.
A rental and turnover-heavy market
Downtown Vancouver, and Yaletown in particular, has one of the highest concentrations of renters, corporate leases, and short-term rentals in the city. That turnover shows up directly in our booking mix: move-in and move-out cleaning and Airbnb turnaround cleaning make up a larger share of our downtown work than in a neighbourhood like Shaughnessy, where the same family might own a home for twenty years. Turnaround timelines downtown also tend to be tighter, since a unit between guests or tenants often needs to be ready same-day rather than with a few days' notice.
Smaller footprints, faster per-square-foot cleaning
Downtown units, especially in Yaletown, tend to run smaller than family homes elsewhere in the city, often studios or one and two-bedroom layouts optimized for efficient use of space. That means a downtown clean often moves faster per square foot than an equivalent-sized character home with more separate rooms and older fixtures to navigate around, even though the glass and building-access factors add their own time.
Commercial and mixed-use considerations
Downtown Vancouver is also where we do more of our office and retail cleaning work than in a purely residential neighbourhood, since Yaletown and the West Georgia corridor mix condo towers with ground-floor retail, restaurants, and office space. That means scheduling around business hours and coordinating with building management separately from a residential strata, considerations that barely come up in neighbourhoods like Shaughnessy or UBC.
Booking a cleaning downtown
Whether you're in a Yaletown loft off Mainland Street, a Coal Harbour waterfront tower, or a commercial space near the West Georgia corridor, we plan for building access and glass-heavy layouts before the visit starts, and we keep the same flat-rate pricing structure by size that we use everywhere else, just adjusted for how downtown buildings actually operate day to day.
